It is a great privilege to be part of the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Club. The Finnish business community has a long history and strong presence in the United States since the first Finnish-American Commerce Association was established in New York in 1953. The Finnish American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast, Inc was organized in 1982. A new chapter has started in 2008 and the leaders of our business community welcome new talent and innovation to the chamber. The young talent in the Southeast has a lot to offer for the business community and taking the chamber to the 21st century.
Communication is the key to success in any business. Our members need to be informed and information needs to reach all recipients through various channels of communication. Mikko Lindberg has done a great job in designing our new website, as well as organizing online registration and payment for the business and social events. Please sign up for the Young Professionals Club email notification list if you have not done so already. Our goal is to reach everyone with business relations to Finland and offer them a chance to become involved in various business and social events to create and promote networking opportunities with the corporate member companies as well as the leaders in the Finnish business community.
Tell your friends, family and business colleagues about our mission. Become part of something useful and beneficial in the community. Through the networking events, our young members can learn valuable lessons from corporate leaders, build relations and create opportunities for the future. Join the mailing list by writing to ypc@facc-southeast.org.
